In the last few years, traveling has allowed me to get to know different places and cultures, all with its customs and traditions. And now I'm excited to share my culture with the world. I love this job because there is always more to learn and discover about my own country and the surrounding countries, and the satisfaction of travellers when they come back from their trip and loved everything they saw and experienced - it's the best reward.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru’s helter-skelter capital, I am city girl through and through. Talkative, full of laughs, and generous to a tee, I always knew I wanted a job where I could help people, but it was my adventurous spirit that landed me in hospitality. I have ancestral roots in both the rarefied air of the Andes and the amazing North of Peru.

Our tour operator is based in the capital city of Lima and has been in operation for over 65 years. We love wow’ing our travelers and bringing the unique spirit of Peru alive. We spent two weeks in Argentina, visiting four different regions: Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate, and Mendoza. Rough guides arranged all of our hotels, domestic flights, and local transportation, and helped us with a couple of excursions. We were 100% satisfied with the services they provided: the hotels were all very good; the local guides that met us at each airport were super friendly and helpful; and their WhatsApp service was really responsive - even helped us recover an item of clothing we left in a hotel in Buenos Aires. We will definitely use their services for future trips.

We had an excellent experience with Rough Guides! The absolute peace of mind to know there was someone at your fingertips 24-7 to help with any issues was fantastic! Our local contact even assisted us in navigating the system when I had to see a Dr. Every place we flew to, there was an English speaking driver to meet us at the airport, get us to our hotel and to our excursions. We will definitely use Rough Guides again, I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Epic trip to Peru

The planning of the trip with the guidance of Maria José from Rough Guides was already very professional, fast and reliable - she really shaped the best possible itinerary with all our requests and wishes for the trip. Once started the trip went from good at lake Titicaca, to great in Cusco to epic at the peruanian Rainforest. I can only highly recommend to plan and execute your travels with rough guides - they know what they do and the service onsite was just fabulous!!! Many thanks to everybody involved!!!
